Phishing Alert

Phishing is a widespread and increasingly sophisticated form of cybercrime.

We’ve discovered that scammers frequently impersonate trusted companies, using deceptive emails, texts, or WhatsApp messages to win a guest’s trust.

Here’s the example:

If a guest reports receiving messages like this, advise them to:

✔ Note that the WhatsApp messages was not sent by hotel/resort.

✔ Never clicking suspicious links or downloading unknown files.

✔ Be wary of urgent payment demands or threats of service disconnection.

‼️Remember, protect yourself from phishing attacks by following these best practices:

  1. Don’t react immediately. Verify each message before clicking links or corresponding.
  2. Treat urgent requests with suspicion.Be cautious of messages that pressure you to act quickly or ask for sensitive information.
  3. Keep credentials and devices secure. Update password.
  4. Report suspicious activity or concerning messages via email to the Hotel Item, Revenue and BRH.ecom, and include evidence such as the scammer’s SMS/WhatsApp/email and conversation screenshot.
